I scheduled an appointment at this Firestone to replace my two front tires after getting an online quote for about $220 with all fees included. It was the best price I found, so I called and scheduled the appointment for the next day. When I arrived around 4 PM, the employee told me the total would be $255 instead. I was confused because the quote had changed in less than 24 hours, so I sat down and double checked everything. After confirming I hadn’t made any mistakes, I asked why the price had gone up. He explained that they had added the tire protection plan. I had no problem paying for that, but they never asked for my approval or explained the price difference until I questioned it. Some time later, the same employee came out and told me that three wheel studs had stripped and would need to be replaced. He quoted me another $130, $90 in labor plus the cost of the studs. My original $220 tire appointment jumped up to almost $400. The problem is that my studs were NOT stripped beforehand. About a week before the appointment, my dad removed my hubcaps and made sure the bolts weren’t stripped or overtightened prior to getting my tires changed. What bothered me even more was ho

Service here was fantastic, phenomenal staff....great pricing and definitely reasonable. Staff did a great job explaining what needed to be done and did it promptly in a well mannered time. Definitely do recommend and will return. The greatest shop in the area, can't be competed with. Thank you Vin and the rest of the firestone staff you guys are amazing.

My company truck needed 4 new tires and an oil change. We have a fleet membership, so I chose Firestone expecting fast, professional service. I was very wrong. On the first day, I had everything pre-approved and waited from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. At that point, a staff member told me they couldn’t work on the truck because they only had 3 of the 4 tires in stock — an obvious excuse after they’d wasted my entire afternoon. 3.5 hours completely lost. I called ahead the next day and dropped the truck off at 7:00 AM when they opened. I told them I’d return around noon. When I came back at 1:00 PM, the truck hadn’t even been started. I waited for hours while they tried selling me unnecessary add-ons like a cabin filter. It’s now 4:00 PM and I’m still sitting here. Essentially 12 hours, to get tires put on and a simple oil change. Avoid the Shrewsbury Firestone if you value your time. Even the simplest services turn into an all-day ordeal. You’ll be lucky to get your vehicle back the same week.

The team at Firestone was very welcoming when I arrived and took the time to clearly explain the scope of work. They walked me through the details of all the repairs that were required, which I really appreciated. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the communication throughout the process was excellent. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I appreciate the professionalism and attention to detail from the entire team.

I made an appointment at Firestone for an oil change and tire rotation at 12:00 PM on a Saturday. I arrived early and was checked in at 11:47 AM, but after waiting over an hour, my car hadn’t even been moved. When I asked for an update, the technician was polite and apologetic, explaining they were running behind. I appreciated the friendliness, but better communication throughout the process would have made a big difference ( I would have left). I was told my car was next, yet it took another 20 minutes just to get it into a bay and even then, no work was being done. By 2:34 PM, I was finally told my car was almost ready. I understand Saturdays are busy, but if appointments don’t actually reserve a service slot, it defeats the purpose of scheduling ahead. My service was complete by 2:50 PM. Upon reading the report it stated that my cabin air filter was dirty and needed to be replaced. I asked the technician if they had looked at the filter and he said yes. I stated that couldn’t be possible because I changed the filter myself the day before. Overall, not impressed with the experience and I will not be back in the future.
